Introducing The Canine Aquatic Gym — located in Great Barrington Massachusetts
True Balance Animal Wellness’ Canine Aquatic Gym is located at 34 Rosseter Street in the heart of Great Barrington Massachusetts. It’s open by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
The pool is 10 feet x 18 feet and is heated to 89 degrees, with jets for resistance. Swims are one-on-one sessions, and bodywork will be performed in the water.
Sessions are roughly 45 minutes long, for $75. A vet referral is required for Hydrotherapy, and an initial assessment may be necessary.
A veterinarian referral is required for ALL dogs,
and will be obtained as soon as your initial visit is scheduled.

THE POOL
The pool is 10 feet wide x 18 feet long, and 4 1\2 feet deep. There are 1 MPH and 2 MPH jets that provide appropriate resistance for each dog.
The water is heated to 89 degrees, and is kept sparkling clean and balanced with a UV sanitizer, a copper ionizer, a large cartridge filter, and weekly professional maintenance.

The ramp and steps (above images) together allow easy, anxiety free entry into the pool. Once dogs get in, they head to the resting dock where we settle down together before starting their session. Bodywork and PROM (Passive Range of Motion) is performed in the water between swim sets.
